Loved by Families

My autistic son had a rough day. He was dysregulated and overwhelmed and had been biting himself a lot to try to cope. As soon as we got to swim lessons he changed. He was excited and getting in some desperately needed sensory input. Not only is it good exercise and learning good skills (especially since he is drawn to water), it helps him come back to himself since he is getting his needs in. He loves it and the rest of his day was much better.

My son really enjoyed his swim lessons. The instructors met him where he was and encouraged him to try new skills that felt a little challenging without pushing beyond his ability to cope. Some instructors used lesson time very efficiently, keeping transitions short so he could fit in more activities. Overall, my son felt comfortable in the water while learning new skills that helped him grow and stretch beyond his original comfort level.

I want to share how happy I am with my children’s first class. It was their first time, and I absolutely loved the experience. I especially want to thank the instructor, who was incredibly empathetic with my son who has autism. She was so kind and patient that she made him feel safe and even got him into the big pool on the very first day! That’s truly amazing for me because he’s usually afraid and doesn’t like it.

My son has truly loved his swim lessons! He’s learned so much, and I’ve seen noticeable progress each time. It’s been amazing to watch his confidence grow right alongside his skills and knowledge.

Watching my 4-year-old learn to swim was truly unforgettable—thanks to Learn 2 Swim LLC. In just 20 minutes, Ruth, the amazing owner, helped him go from being hesitant to swimming with confidence and joy. He felt safe, supported, and so proud of himself. It wasn’t just a lesson—it was a moment of growth, connection, and pure joy we’ll always remember.

I am grateful for the program that teaches my kids to swim and helps them enjoy being in the water. His teacher is great. At first, he didn’t like it, but now he’s excited to go to swimming lessons. I can see my son enjoying the water without panicking. Thank you for this opportunity!

When we first started, my daughter was really nervous around the water. After a few lessons, I saw a huge change. She became more confident and now gets excited every time it’s swim day. I’m so grateful for the instructors.

My child has unique needs, and I was worried about how lessons would go. The team adapted so well and made every session comfortable and positive. The progress we’ve seen is amazing.

Daniel Rivera

Parent of a daughter with ADHD

At first, I just wanted my child to learn basic water safety, but she gained so much more. Confidence, independence, and a love for swimming. It’s been such a great experience for our family.

We’ve tried other swim programs before, but this one really stood out. The instructors are patient and truly care. Seeing my son swim on his own now is something I never thought I’d see this soon.

Jason Miller

Parent of a son with Down syndrome

My daughter has sensory sensitivities, especially with water on her face. The instructor worked slowly, never forcing anything, and introduced skills step by step. Now she’s comfortable putting her face in the water and practicing breathing, which we never thought would happen.

Stephanie Brookes

Parent of a daughter with Level 2 Autism

What stood out to me was how the instructor adapted each lesson to my child’s needs. They celebrated small wins, which built his confidence. Now he can swim short distances independently and actually enjoys being in the pool.

Christopher Allen

Parent of a son with speech delay

As a parent of a son with autism, my biggest concern was safety and communication. The instructor took time to understand his triggers and used simple, consistent cues that he could follow. Now he can float on his own and is much calmer in the water.

Camille Thompson

Parent of autistic son

My daughter has difficulty focusing, but the instructor kept her engaged with short, fun activities while still teaching real skills. Because of that, she learned how to kick, float, and safely reach the wall when needed.

Ryan Bennett

Parent of a daughter with anxiety

Amazing experience! My child went from scared to swimming independently.
